my late 'happy birthday' post to JOLENE & LI LING

First and foremost, I would like to say 'HAPPY BELATED B'DAY' to one of my best 'Ji Mui' ever- JOLENE and the HAM SAP LING aka onn li ling...hahaha :)

Secondly, I would also like to apologize to Jolene and Li Ling because that day I was busy with many phone calls to deal with unsettle transportation issues with my cultural anthropolgy field trip and eventually kinda neglect them yet kinda moody...I hope you guys understand my situation for that day... :(

Last Friday (18 September, 2009), Jolene invited me to have belated b'day celebration together with her and li ling at Tony Roma's Sunway Pyramid...

Well, she also got ajak others like wen chooi, sook mun, winnie, wu ying (ying ying), and sexy swee!!!

Seriously, I wasn't so convinced where everyone was circulating the fact that Tony Roma's serving portion was big enough for 2 person..I finally get to proved myself wrong with my own eyes...

It turned out that 5 of the main course that we had ordered are LARGE!!
We shared among each others and suprisingly I found out that it was not up to my expectations. Although I do sound kinda pro here, but it just that nothing special about it...

But one of the dessert that Sook Mun order is the Chocolate Avalanche!!
I should said that this dessert was way too luscious, seducive and mouth watering...
It hold that certain fascination that makes you craving for more...
Basically is 3 scoop of vanilla ice cream topped with hot-baked chocolate brownies!!

Imagine icy cold creamy vanilla ice cream meet with the irresistable hot brownies and it was like having a 'WAR OF THE CENTURY' inside your mouth !! I know I do exaggerate over a small dessert but trust me , if anyone were to visit Tony Roma's for meal, I highly recommend Chocolate Avalanche...

Last Friday, me and shu wan went to parade with the intention to buy some goodies for our cultural anthropology trip...We planned to buy cookies or maybe biscuit will do...

At first she assumed that subang parade got Jusco, but when she reached there and ask me where is Jusco and I was like 'Huh? parade where got Jusco? Got Cold Storage only lar' =.=

After listening to my explaination, she say she rather go to Jusco in Klang which located near her house...

Since we were at parade, so we just wondering around...

Until something NEW AND WORTH TO CHECK OUT appeared in front of my eyes!!

The SHILIN TAIWAN STREET SNACKS was finally opened. Many will say 'Cheh, what's the big deal, pyramid also got lar'...But for me, pyramid is much further than parade mar..haha

This taiwanese snacks thingy was first introduced to me by Guai Guai, my college friend..

She says that the Hand Made Oyster Mee Suah and the Sweet Plum Potato Fries was not bad when we first tried it out at pyramid...

Besides, they were also famous for its XXL Crispy Chicken and Seafood Tempura..
Since it was newly opened, I told shu wan to give the sweet plum potato fries a try...She says it tastes great.

The fries was sprinkled with the sweet plum powder which is a perfect combo for it...

After that, we go get some awesome bubbletea which also newly opened in parade.

I think the shop name is called Cool Blog...

They offered many variety of drink ..lazy to list all...but it worth a try too!!

But somehow I think I ordered something very weird..

Let's imagine this..ICE BLENDED PEPPERMINT WITH OREO!!

When I was looking at the people preparing the drink, I was like 'Damn! It looks weird wei! '

The final product is not attracting at all... :(

The colour was somehow looks like the colour of green bean tong sui...Some more with all those crushed oreo, I bet the taste was totally ruined.

As I expected, it does taste similar to green bean tong sui... :P

Later on, I go and buy my SUPER JUNIOR 3rd album -SORRY SORRY Ver.C

At first, I was still skeptical at super junior's music. But when they released SORRY SORRY which is immensely popular throughout Asia, I started to took notice on them :)

The lead single of the album 'SORRY SORRY' was described as funk, dance song with a catchy hook and chorus..I wasn't so into SORRY SORRY at first but it grow on me when the more I listen to it.

However, what really prompt me to purchase their 3rd korean album is the 2nd single 'It's You' of the album which is only included in the repackaged version of the album (version C)...

The group described the song as a 'mellow yet trendy dance song'

When it was first aired in MTV, I was immediately crazy over the song...In fact in my opinion, it was better than SORRY SORRY...So, I was determined to get the album...

Since it almost sold out in most record store and few copies was left in Speedy Video parade, I quickly secured my copy of it before it was nowhere to be found..

Yet again, I was not dissapointed at my decision to buy it because every track in the album was able to impress me when I first listen to it...

Nothing special though. Morning yumcha at TaiThong then went shopping at Mid Valley...

To be honest, walking Mid Valley to The Gardens and from the Gardens to Mid Valley was like an exercise...My foot is seriously pain like hell. Well, me and bro decided to chilled at Starbucks a while waiting for my parents to finished shopping...

i stay faithful to my GREEN TEA ICE BLENDED...this time i choose without cream :P

My parents finally finished their shopping & my dad is making me jealous because he just bought a blackBURBERRY T-shirt from the Gardens. He asked me to wait for one year then he will pass it to me..=.=

Then we dined in OH SUSHI restaurant....At first glance, I think it was some ordinary sushi restaurant but suprisingly many people dined in the restaurant.. @>@

The food was not bad...I ordered the tempura bento which is far better than I thought..

The japanese garlic rice left me craving for more... :)

Upcoming cultural anthropology research and FINAL DESTINATION 4

I almost lost the urge to blog since last week..but somehow certain thing cause me to blog again.

Well, as I mentioned in my previous post. I already started my new semester in the beginning of September..So the first week was pretty much the same as usual..

One of the subject I take is Cultural Anthropology. It require a group member of 6 to produce a report which page requirement exceed 100 pages!! My first ever assignment which such amount of pages!! Quite intimidating though but still have to complete it...

Basically the assignment was about choosing a rural area and done a thorough research on it...For examples, like those fishing village, or maybe plantation village...The factors that we must consider includes economics , religion & belief, political system, food and health...and so on..

My group, which consist Shu Wan, Poulina, Li Xia, Jerrod, Kah Heng and myself choosen Tanjung Sepat as our destination for this project...Many claims that place serve many delicious seafood which they are particularly famous for it...*DROOLS*

So, pictures will be guarantee taken...So readers, stay tuned for it...We are going during the Raya week holiday!! Kinda excited for it!!

Besides, I finally get the opportunity to treat myself a movie which I've been waiting for quite some time..FINAL DESTINATION 4!!!

I would not say it was one of the best among it franchise series in terms of plot, storyline and character. But I was quite enjoy all the splatting body parts scenes and most of all BLOODS & GORE are PLENTY!!!
*I know, I sounds kinda sadistic here, but it was awesome though!

The only thing that made me dissapointed is the fact that whenever a person going to die, it was somehow quite predictable which killed the anticipation and intensity of the movie itself...

Not to mention that the movie also offered in 3D version. Luckily I did not watch the 3D ver, if not I will faint on the spot. XD

Besides, they already occupied the 1st, 2nd & 4th position of Oricon Yearly Single Chart 2009 with their smash singles

Yesterday, I've text messages to my bee and even called her many times but I just could not get contact with her .


My initial intention of looking for Bee is to ask whether my CDs had arrived or not..

I phoned her sister and her sis told me that she was out but have no idea where she head to!!
She also told me that my stuff had just arrived on Saturday!!


After my confirmation with her sister, then I tried to called BEE again to tell her that I've collected my stuff and passed the balance money to her sister!
* I walk all the way to Bee's house (USJ 1) to collect it! Call me crazy? I am :)

SHINee's mini album 'ROMEO'. I bought it within this week. The 50 page booklet itself was nice.

the back of the booklet featured a single member of SHINee. I got TaeMin! I wanted Junghyon or KEY!!

And yet again, I failed to reach her which make me kinda worried about her!

I even called again at night but yet AGAIN unreachable!

Unless she was outstation, if not how come she can't be reach?

The only thing I do is try to call her the next day!

Today, I finally KNOW where is she when I msg her and GUESS what she written in her msg??

You so SCARED I lost ar???

When I saw the msg, I almost burst into laughters!! because the way she wrote is so funny!

Then I start to think 'Bee in Island?? how come? never heard of from her!

I even think that she PURPOSELY go to island to get her body TANNED!! :P

*Joking only. It will be a miracle if Bee wanna get her body TANNED! She always wanted to be as fair as possible LIKE 'CAT PUTIH' ..haha

Actually she was on a vacation in Pulao Tioman with her bf and her bf's family..

Because out of SUDDEN she told me she was in ISLAND which I never think of.

Finally, my semester are almost ending soon in couple of days more !

Looking forward for my upcoming short semester which is not so HEAVY.

By the way, I've taken my previous semester results and it was below expectation for certain subjects.

But somehow I was lucky for ONE particular subject which I had nightmare of failing it...Phew =.=

An ' A ' was not included in my result slip for my previous semester. But it was still acceptable for me.

1.Speech Communication - B

2.Intro to Advertising - B
3.Philosophy of Religion - C+

4. Microeconomics - B-

I've shown my mum the results slip and she said she was OK with it .
But she hope that I can increase my CGPA to 3.0

Because my CGPA for this semester drop slightly from 2.88 to 2.85

Her advice is that 'Why would you want to maintain such flat results which range within 2.7-2.8...If you put more effort in it, I bet 3.0 is definitely not a problem to you'

I agreed with her. I admitted that I did not really put much effort for finals.

I will try to best to hit 3.0 for the following semester which is also my 5th sem!

Besides, the subject that I will be taking for next semester is Cultural Antropology, Macroeconomics, and Malaysian Studies!

I hope it will turn out to be just fine for me :)

Since today is Sunday, my parents bring us to YUMCHA at Tai Thong Restaurant which located at Jaya Square, Subang Jaya.

We reach there around 11.30 a.m and we are quite hungry..since it was almost lunch time.

Le Meridien buffet dinner!!

Last Saturday, my mum's friends invited her to have buffet dinner at Le Meridien hotel which located right besides Hilton Hotel ,KL...and I was invited too because somehow I was close to her friends...haha

Although I've been to Hilton KL but I have yet to notice the Le Meridien hotel. Maybe I was oblivious of its existence =.=

But who cares...As I enter the lobby, my attention was quicly being captured by the artistic yet astonishing interior design...
The ambience and the surrouding was kinda gloomy. The stairs also decorated with mini candles!! How lovely was that.

The place that we are dining in is called 'Latest Recipe' (* I know, sounds like Secret Recipe :)
The chocolate and white chocolate fountain was the first thing I saw as I enter...what a nice visual pleasure for me


What can I say more about the dinner ? Great, perhaps ?
